Ah, the RV pantry – the place where delicious food gets lost in the shadowy depths. Our RV pantry upgrade was a simple, inexpensive fix to the lost food issue.
Our RV pantry, narrow and deep, was a challenge. Picture yourself preparing for a cozy RV dinner, and you need that special spice or a can of beans. But there's a catch – it's lurking somewhere in the back of the pantry. The only solution? To grab a flashlight and search.
The Bright Solution: LED Puck Lights
Then came our game-changer moment. We found these nifty LED puck lights at Walmart. These aren't your ordinary lights – they come with a switch and a dimmer! Installing them was so easy, and our pantry lit up to showcase our food items.
Adjustable Brightness for the Win
The dimmer feature on these lights is a stroke of genius. Need a soft glow for a midnight snack raid? Done. Full brightness to find that elusive box of pasta? Easy-peasy. And if the light intensity is turned down, the batteries will last longer-bonus!
Even More Light
Once we realized how much those two LED lights improved our pantry experience, we went and bought another pack of two. We mounted them and saw ev en more clearly the contents of our pantry.
So there you have it – a simple and inexpensive upgrade that's made a world of difference in our RV kitchen. No more flashlight expeditions. It's all about bright, adjustable lighting that makes cooking and snacking a breeze.
Our next pantry upgrade will be to add shelves since our pantry sections are unnecessarily tall. Maybe even roll-out shelves!
