Hello! Let me introduce Myself
My name is Vanessa and I live stationary in my RV in Idaho. I want this blog to serve as resource and inspiration for others who want to pursue tiny living, however that looks.
My maternal grandparents were snow birds and lived in a house in Oregon in the nice weather months and wintered in their RV in a really nice RV park in Palm Springs. They also traveled all over the US in their RV. I loved getting to travel with them!
By the time I could go along on some of their trips or visit them in Palm Springs, they had moved from trailers to motorhomes. I thought being able to take your home on wheels to any place you wanted to go was the greatest idea ever. It had the advantage of a built-in bathroom and lunch in your own kitchen. Their final RV was a park model trailer once they couldn't drive that far anymore and it was so comfortable to visit them in the larger trailer.
Fast forward to the present, my fiance and I decided to give up our rental house and move into our RV full-time, stationary, on our own land. This is enabling us to save more money to buy or build a house one day. Plus being out in the country with space around us is priceless. Our dogs love to go on walks with us around the property and investigate all the smells. This is probably not our forever lifestyle, but we've loved learning all the tips and tricks for stationary RV living.
